Rockpool is a brand new, self-contained holiday home that is a short walk from Crooklets Beach in Bude.

A one-bedroom property with private parking/access, fully equipped kitchen and a lounge, Rockpool has been designed to offer you everything you need for a peaceful Cornish getaway. 

Rockpool is conveniently located a 5-minute walk from Crooklets Beach and is a short walk from the bustling Bude town centre which is full of independent shops and restaurants. It is the perfect base for all outdoor enthusiasts as well as simply to relax. Bude is renowned for its surf beaches and stunning walks along the Atlantic Coast which are ideally accessible from your doorstep. There are countless activities for all ages and as locals to the area we will be happy to provide tips to make your stay special.

Bude is often recognised as the sunniest place in the UK and is a perfect gateway to North Cornwall if you want to visit the nearby Port Isaac, Boscastle and Tintagel. And the uniquely beautiful village of Clovelly is just a short drive across the border into Devon. If you’re hoping to fully switch off, once you arrive at Rockpool you can easily not touch your car and enjoy all the benefits of being located right by the town and the beach.

The Space

Rockpool is a spacious and well-lit property which has a separate bathroom, bedroom and large lounge/kitchen.

Included is a double bed, sofa bed, smart TV, Wi-Fi, and fully equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher, oven, halogen hob and microwave. Added benefits are the rainfall shower and off-road parking with easy access to mains electricity if you have an electric car.

Rockpool has been newly built to the highest-spec and there are smart electric wall heaters throughout. The floor, walls and ceiling all have thick layers of insulation that keep Rockpool cosy in winter and cool in summer.

Guest Access

Rockpool is accessed from a lane running parallel to Downs View and is fully self-contained. The owners live in the adjacent main house which is separated by a fence and garden so your privacy will not be compromised. However, if you require any assistance or local advice, they will be happy to help.

As well as private parking, Rockpool also comes with a ‘gated area’ which is secured by a key code gate lock. This is an outdoor area for you to keep any sportscrafts that you may bring with you such as surfboards and bikes, and a hose to rinse and hang dry your wetsuits.
